Building Operations and Maintenance
Building operations and maintenance workers may perform a wide variety of tasks such as cleaning; painting; repair of plumbing and woodwork; landscaping; light construction or renovation; and electrical wiring. The risks of illness and injury are just as varied, ranging from electrocution to exposure to potentially hazardous chemicals to falls.
