Marina Jabsky is the Industrial Hygienist at NYCOSH. Her roles include providing technical assistance, support, training, and conducting investigations and risk assessments related to concerns about exposures to workplace hazards.
Marina has experience in healthcare facility compliance, including Legionella contamination control, as well as the comprehensive practice of industrial hygiene for a global testing, inspection, and certification company. She is a NYS certified asbestos inspector, project monitor, and air sampling technician, and is fluent in English and Russian.
Marina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stony Brook University, and a Master of Public Health in Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety from the CUNY School of Public Health and Health Policy, where she completed a thesis on exposures to physical and chemical hazards at a New York-based brewery.
Marina has contributed to research on fetal membranes and neonatal infectious outcomes that has been published in the American Journal of Perinatology, Placenta, and the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
