David Pratt and Luzdary Giraldo re-join NYCOSH staff. NYCOSH to re-open Long Island office.

NYCOSH welcomed back on staff Luzdary Giraldo, NYCOSH Community Outreach Oranizer and David Pratt, NYCOSH Long Island Safety and Health Coordinator.  Luzardy will lead an effort to reach immigrant workers who are entitled to benefits under the Zadroga Act on a national and local level.  She will also conduct safety and health training for community-based organization who provide services and organize immigrant workers in New York City and on Long Island.  David will re-open NYCOSH's office in Hauppauge which had been closed because of budget cuts.  David will provide training programs and technical assistance for local unions on Long Island and work with Luzdary to reach workers on Long Island who worked at the World Trade Center site who are eligible for medical treatment under the Zadroga Act.  Luzdary can be reached at LGiraldo@nycosh.org and David's email is DPratt@NYCOSH.org.
